Membership in CoAPCR consists of experts in the field of clinical research and academic institutions that offer certificate or degree programs in clinical research. Degree programs range from undergraduate to graduate programs. Certificate programs are post-baccalaureate and graduate programs. Additional sites include clinical research education offered through the CTSA sites that offer special programs for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students working in the bench-to-bedside drug discovery, development, and clinical research.

Arizona State University (ASU) shines bright as a leader in healthcare education with its renowned Clinical Research Management and Regulatory Science Programs. McMaster University
McMaster University Continuing Education offers a fully online 5-course Certificate program in Applied Clinical Research. Taught by industry experts, students will gain in-demand skills in successfully constructing and managing clinical research studies and sites, while taking into consideration legal and regulatory requirements, ethical practices and professional standards. This program also gives students the opportunity to apply their new skills and knowledge to real-world experience through the clinical research capstone course.

North Carolina Central University
The Clinical Research Sciences Program (CRSP) in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the Fall of 2018 in partnership with Duke University in a National Institutes of Health Clinical Translational Science Award. Our vision is to build a clinical research workforce of the future with a strong focus on health equity and community engagement.
This program is designed with you in mind. Our courses are online, hybrid, and face-to-face, to support your learning needs and meet the challenges of a busy life. Students in the Clinical Research Sciences Program can choose from three unique offerings: a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research, and a Minor or Certificate in Clinical Research for students holding a BS degree or pursuing one through the university.
Radford University
Radford University's MSHS is a 36-credit hour degree program with the option of selecting the Clinical Research Administration Concentration.
Radford University offers a 12-credit hour Clinical Research Certificate.

St. Cloud State University
At St. Cloud State University (SCSU), the Master of Science in Applied Clinical Research (ACR) program provides students with the tools and competencies required to design, conduct, evaluate, and report human clinical trials. Graduates will understand the use of clinical evidence on the general population. They will accelerate their development, whether a new clinical research professional or a developing clinical research leader. The program is STEM-designated, and the faculty comprises a select group of industry experts.
The ACR graduate program is the only clinical research program in the United States focused on medical devices but inclusive of pharmaceuticals and combination products. Located in the heart of Medical Alley, the program is committed to a high-quality curriculum, a practical approach to learning (including culminating work experiences), and strong industry/healthcare partnerships. In July of 2024, the ACR graduate program at SCSU received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), demonstrating its high quality and commitment to maintaining academic standards in clinical research education.

University of North Carolina Wilmington
The UNCW School of Nursing offers a nationally ranked clinical research Bachelor of Science degree program, a minor, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Clinical Research Operations, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research & Product Development. The program offers students the opportunity to gain specialized education, training, and experience in the exciting field of clinical research. Our program is situated in a vibrant clinical research industry here in Wilmington, providing ample opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience through internships. Upon completion, graduates are prepared to participate in the science and business of developing healthcare products, such as drugs, biologics, and biomedical devices, with emphasis on pre-approval human clinical trials and post-marketing safety studies. Our alumni are employed in a variety of settings, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and patient device companies; contract research organizations (CROs); clinical settings; and government agencies.

Virginia Commonwealth University
The Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research is the NIH/NCATS CTSA hub for Virginia Commonwealth University.
The Wright Center fosters research collaborations across the state and accelerates the translation of scientific discoveries to patient care. It is also the administrative home for three academic programs centered around clinical and translational research and sciences committed to developing a diverse, team-focused CTS research workforce from research staff members to graduate students and faculty leaders.
1. Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Clinical Research
A 12-credit program beyond the bachelor’s degree: nine required credit hours focusing on federal clinical research regulations, basic principles of clinical trial design and data management, ethical conduct of research and multicultural communication skills, as well as three elective credit hours from a set of predetermined courses.
2. Masters Degree in Clinical and Translational Sciences
Offers a broad foundation of core courses and emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to research. It provides education in clinical and translational principles and prepares students to engage in a range of investigative processes.
3. PhD Program in Clinical and Translational Sciences
Offers a general curriculum with a specialized interdisciplinary concentration in cancer and molecular medicine.
WashU Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS) Clinical Research Program
WashU Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS) offers flexible, career-focused education for adult learners who are balancing work and personal responsibilities. Flexible learning includes online, hybrid, and in-person classes. CAPS offers several Clinical Research programs, which includes:
