Please Consider Participating on a CoAPCR Committee!CoAPCR is presently coordinating the work of two virtual committess. One of these, the Program Directory Committee is reviewing and consolidating information about all the programs, both in the US and worldwide that provide clinical research education. Persons serving on this committe are considering the costs, the offerings, target populations, the technologies, and the logistics of each of these programs.Persons working on the Clinical Research Knowledge Base Committee are attempting to consolidate and codify the activities and the understandings necessaruy for a clinical research professional to function at each of several levels of effort in the profession. The goal of this committee is to define program content for clinical research instruction that would be appropriate for several different levels of clinical research. These two CoAPCR committes are conducting their work virtually on a wiki at Mass General Hospital that has been set up for this purpose. The wiki can be accessed at the following adderss: (http://cedric.mghihp.edu/JSPWiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Main). The present membership of both committees is posted on the wiki. Persons interested in the committee topics may join in these discussions by contacting Jim Parmentier at
