Presentations on a range of suggested core competencies required of our graduates have been shared with experts at academic institutions, professional organizations, U.S. federal government and the pharmaceutical industry obtaining feedback to ensure that the competencies fit with the current research enterprise.  Our goal is to provide useful information to academic programs for the purpose of successful integration within program course offerings.

In addition to developing accreditation standards, some of our members are creating an up-to-date listing of educational programs in clinical research so that CoAPCR may serve as a resource for individuals seeking information on available programs.  All members are currently involved in curriculum and course development, teaching, administration and research conduct in academic programs that offer academic certificates or degrees.  CoAPCR members have an opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow professionals in the field and ensure students are prepared for the workforce.

Please consider adding your own expertise to our efforts to improve the quality and applicability of educational programs in all areas of clinical research, no matter where in the world their home institution is based.
